On Sunday, March 7th and Monday, March 8th the best selling author and local favorite is scheduled for two appearances at Doc Ford’s Sanibel Rum Bar & Grill, from 12 – 2pm and again 4pm – 6pm. The event will take place in the Dinkins Bay bungalow (named for one of the locales in White’s writings) just off the porch and patio area. The author will be on break between signings.

The Forth Annual Bonita Blues Festival will be a two day event held on Friday, March 12, gates opening at 3:00 p.m. and Saturday, March 13th gates opening at 11:00 a.m. at Riverside Park in downtown Bonita Springs. Both days will feature top-notch blues music and a wide variety of food and other vendors.
National and Regional blues bands set to perform include Nick Moss and the Flip Tops out of Chicago, Albert Castiglia from the east coast of Florida, Motor City Josh and the Big Three from Michigan, Delta Highway, by way of Memphis, Sean Chambers, from South Florida and Greg Nagy, of North Carolina.
The line-up will also introduce a couple of local blues favorites, Rex Bongo and the Cornbread Brothers and The John Allender Band.
